The staff of Gnó Mhaigh Eo will be attending MeetWest, the largest business networking event in the West of Ireland. The event will take place in the Knockranny House Hotel, on 21st and 22nd November. The staff of Gnó Mhaigh Eo are looking forward to meeting with representatives from the business sector of Mayo to discuss their plans and projects for the coming year. They will be hoping to establish collaborative relationships with a view to promoting Irish language in the business sector of the county.
The objective of MeetWest is to promote business in the West of Ireland and it is expected that there will be up to 400 delegates in attendance from all over the Connaught region. The MeetWest conference is organised in conjunction with the County Councils and the County Enterprise Boards in Mayo, Roscommon and Mayo, the Western Development Commission in conjunction with Údarás na Gaeltachta, Enterprise Ireland, IDA Ireland and the Westport Chamber of Commerce.
