Nature of Ireland

Is grianghrafadóir amaitéarach í Lynda Huxley atá lonnaithe gar do Chaisleán an Bharraigh i gContae Mhaigh Eo. Úsáideann sí an ceamara Nikon FM2 SLR chun sleamhnáin daite 35mm a thógáil, rud nach bhfuil coitianta san aois dhigiteach ina mairimid anois. Chun an tírdhreach ilghnéitheach agus flóra agus fána Maigh Eo a cheiliúradh agus a chur chun cinn, thosaigh Lynda ag foilsiú cartaí beannachtaí i 2004 agus déirigh léi Féilire Iarrthar na hÉireann a chur i gcló i 2007. Cé gur as Sasana ó dhuchais í Lynda, tá suim mhór aici sa teanga agus de bharr sin tá gach cárta agus féilire dátheangach. Ón am a thosaigh sí ag cur an Ghaeilge ar a táirgí, deirtear gur tháinig méadú ar an éileamh agus tá margadh níos leithne aici anois. Tá a cartaí agus a féilirí le ceannach ar a suíomh idirlíon Nature of Ireland atá luaite thíos.

Lynda Huxley is an amateur photographer based near Castlebar in County Mayo. Although we live in a digital age, Lynda chooses to use a Nikon FM2 SLR camera to take 35mm colour slides. She finds this process the most natural and appealing way for her to capture and celebrate the diverse landscape and flora and fauna of Co. Mayo. In 2004, Lynda began to produce greeting cards from her photographs and in 2007 she launched the West of Ireland Calender. Although Lynda originally hails from England, she has developed a great interest in the Irish language, which can be seen on both her cards and calenders. Since producing bilingual products, she has noted a bigger demand which has opened her up to a much wider market. All of Lynda's products can be bought from her website Nature of Ireland highlighted below.
