Bronntanas

D’oscail Anne Staunton Barrett an siopa nua Bronntanas roimh thréimhse ghnóthach na Nollag in 2015, agus tá sí gnóthach ó shin ag athbhunú a gnólachta sa bhaile mór. Roimhe sin, d’oibrigh sí lena máthair, Ita, nuair a bhí an siopa acu ar an bpríomhshráid, sular bhain sí céim sa ghnó amach agus Máistreacht in OÉ Gaillimh go dtí gur fhill sí ar an saol miondíola. Ó d’fhreastail sí ar Choláiste Mhuire i dTuar Mhic Éadaigh, tá neart Gaeilge ag Anne agus oibríonn sí go crua chun an Ghaeilge a chur chun cinn sa siopa. Roghnaigh sí ainm Gaeilge dá siopa, mar dar léi, ba oiriúnach amach is amach é an t-ainm a roghnaigh sí do na táirgí atá á dhíol aici.

Anne Staunton Barrett opened her new shop Bronntanas just before the busy Christmas period in 2015 and has been very busy re-establishing her business in the town. Before that, she worked with her mother, Ita, when they had their shop on the Main Street, before completing a business degree and Masters in NUIG and returning to retail life. Having attended school in Tourmakeady, Anne has lots of Irish and she works very hard to promote the Irish language in her business. The name ‘Bronntanas’ was an instant fit for her business and is not only prominent on her shop front, but runs hand and hand with the branding of the entire store.
